What is the University of Salford?
The University of Salford 2km or about 1.2 miles outside of Manchester which is merely 5 minutes away from the main University campus by train or bus ride. After London, Manchester is the UK’s fastest growing city, and while it’s still surprisingly affordable, it’s also culturally sophisticated, vibrant and youthful have a 27 year long relationship exchanging cultural and academic experiences through education and research.

University of Toledo students will spend both semesters 1 and 2 at the University of Salford. Students will normally be of junior standing with a major of Biology or pre-med and approved for participation in the program by the appropriate Director of The University of Toledo-University of Salford Exchange Program.

University of Toledo students will have the opportunity to live in University accommodation while at Salford.

Student Life
Students will be treated as students of the host university and be guaranteed access to a tutor/academic advisor. Students will pay the tuition of their home institution for the duration of the exchange.

Toledo students will qualify for admission after their credentials are reviewed by the University of Toledo Program Director after the completion of the fall term of the sophomore (2nd) year. Application must be received no later than two weeks before the beginning of the semester. Final notification of admission will be given once student have successfully completed their second semester studies.
